At SpeakCharlie, we are thrilled to announce an opening for a Mandarin Chinese Tutor to join our expanding team. At this time, we are specifically looking for a coach with a Pǔtōnghuà (Standard Mandarin) dialect. 

What is SpeakCharlie?

Founded in 2014, SpeakCharlie AB specializes in language education and intercultural business training for companies of all sizes. Currently, we help hundreds of companies with tailored courses in Swedish, English, Mandarin, German, French, and intercultural communication.

Role overview:
As a part time Mandarin Tutor with SpeakCharlie, you’ll independently train key personnel at some of Sweden’s premier companies. Your responsibilities will encompass creative design and customization of lessons to suit the participants’ requirements, along with generating materials and lesson plans.

The lessons will be delivered remotely and the selected candidate should be available starting from late October. The course in general comprises 64 lessons, each spanning 90 minutes. The course schedule will be tailored to the customer’s preferences regarding day, time, and location. The group sizes can vary from individual sessions to classes with up to 15 participants. 

Position requirements:

• Native Mandarin speaker (Pǔtōnghuà, based on the dialect from Beijing).
• Exceptional proficiency in English, equivalent to a native speaker’s level. 
• Previous experience in an educational or tutoring role, preferably in language instruction.
• The ideal candidate will possess robust pedagogical skills, superior communication and collaboration abilities, flexibility to adapt to variable work schedules, and the creativity to design inspiring and engaging lessons.
